How can I make a complaint after I bought a juice which was gone bad due to faulty cap?

Unfortunately i did not see that the cap was broken and opened the bottle of Minute Maid juice. The store is a small one and does not give any receipts. When I took it back the shopkeeper didn't want to exchange as the bottle was open.
