If I take in 1000 calories a day of healthy food, and do 30-45 minutes on a elliptical. How much would I lose?

I am overweight and getting married soon. I am more motivated then ever but I work long hours and have children so I cannot get to the gym as often as I like. I am going to try and do at least 30 minutes on the elliptical a day and eat a healthy 1000 calorie diet. How much weight should I expect to lose a week? Also if you have any tips on how to lose weight in my arms, thighs and stomach areas I would appreciate it.
