Misuse of xerox copy of my PAN Card?

I had given copies of my PAN Card, Electricity Bill & Blank cheque duly signed as my ID proof, residence proof & for ECS mandate respectively to BAJAJ FINSERV LIMITED against consumer durable loan. The application was approved by the company & then product was delivered by the shopkeeper after, I gave him the down payment. After few days, a person calls me up from BAJAJ FINSERV LTD., and tells me, to handover the new set of documents again, as the file consisting all my above documents along with the application form was misplaced by the company. I am not agreeing to these and refused to give the documents. I have agreed to give only on one condition that, they need to return my earlier set of documents. Which they have not yet returned. Is there any chance of somebody misusing my xerox copy of PAN Card & blank cheque, and make a fraud and in turn, i am being held responsible. What should I Do. Unnecessary, the shopkeeper has issued me legal notice.
